In the first consultation, we’ll explore the overall design and breadth of your project. Our team will assess your key requirements, gather inspiration through images you provide, and collect the necessary details to give you a comprehensive understanding of the process, including budget expectations.
Once we have collected all the required details and created an initial design, we will provide an estimate for the cost and timeline. This estimate will be thorough and clearly outlined for your review.
After carefully reviewing your project cost and timeline, we will address any further questions you have regarding the design and overall costs. Once the project details are confirmed and we have earned your confidence, we will proceed with officially securing our partnership. At this point, we will request a 10% deposit based on the total estimated cost.
At this point, we begin the development phase of your project, refining key design details and collaborating with project partners. The timeline for this phase can vary depending on the scope of the project and the input from key stakeholders. During this period, we are flexible in addressing any urgent requirements while maintaining a smooth and efficient design process. The overall design process, from initial idea to
finalization, typically takes between 2 to 6 weeks. Within this timeframe, we recommend meeting in person. Additionally, a member of our team will visit your home or project site to take measurements and gain a comprehensive understanding of your space.
Our workshop typically requires 8-12 weeks for production, depending on project details and our current schedule. While this is our standard timeframe, we strive to accommodate special requests and maintain efficient turnaround times. The Estimated Delivery Date, determined during the contract phase, serves as a reference for setting realistic production timelines and ensuring timely completion of your project.
Your Exit 17 designer will coordinate with you and your team to schedule delivery and installation. All installations are handled by skilled artisans employed by Exit 17 Cabinetry, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience from start to finish.
After installation, our Project Manager will follow up with you to review the completed project. This is an opportunity to address any remaining questions or additional needs. Our goal is to ensure you are completely satisfied with the final result.
After your project is complete and you’re enjoying your new cabinetry, our commitment to you continues. We provide personalized follow-ups approximately every six months to check in on the performance of your cabinetry. However, we welcome your questions and feedback at any time. Your custom cabinets come with a limited lifetime warranty, ensuring lasting quality and peace of mind. It’s our privilege to have our craftsmanship become a part of your home.
